Easter: Life From the Ashes
Scripture: Luke 24:1-12 (NRSV)
The rugged cross Christ was crucified upon was made of old, dead wood. That wood was nailed together and replanted into the earth for the sole purpose of advancing more death.
But the Easter miracle of Jesus’ resurrection declares that the tree of death was transformed into a tree of life. In Christ Jesus, life is just too much for death. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!
