OUR STAFF AND LEADERSHIP
INTERIM PASTOR

After 16 years of dedicated and faithful service to Immanuel, Pastor John Tittle accepted a call to a new church in early March. We are so grateful for our time with him and his family and celebrate all the many fond memories and treasured experiences we shared together as a congregation.

We have formed an Interim Pastor Search Team to begin the process of finding an interim pastor for Immanuel. Since its appointment at the beginning of February, this search committee has worked with our Session to develop the profile for the candidates we wish to interview for this position. The Session has prioritized three goals for this interim ministry – reinforce the Ministry of the Laity, communication improvement, and increase the potential for a successful ministry by the next called Pastor.

Beginning on April 16, 2024, Rev. Diane Christopher will step in for a month or two to act as a “gap” interim pastor while we continue our search. Diane was the associate pastor at Valley Presbyterian Church in Green Valley for many years. We are honored and excited to have Diane join us for this time.

We will keep you updated as we progress and are so grateful for your prayers. Questions on this process can be directed to the members of this team: Cheralynn Baylor, Joey Samoy, Sean Shifflette, Jeff Hotchkiss, or Liz Wallendorf.
