Joel: I Will Pour My Spirit on You
Scripture: Joel 2:21-28 (NRSV)
How do you respond to crisis: flight, fight, freeze, faint, fix, or freak out? The prophet Joel helps us to step back, breathe deep, collect our thoughts, listen, and then act wisely in the face of hardship. We don’t always know why bad things happen, but Joel teaches us what to do when bad things happen. Turn to God and trust–the God who has done wonderful things is also the God who will do wonderful things.
