Esther: For Such a Time as This
Scripture: Esther 4:10-17 (NRSV)
For such a time as this. Esther, an orphan, exiled Jewish young woman rises from rags to royalty to become the Queen of Persia–so that she might save her people from genocide. The brave queen Esther teaches us today about courage and when to stand up for those who are bullied or oppressed. God faithfully works behind the scenes (and uses us) to protect his people.
