Kneeling at the Cross Beside the Holy Way
Scriptures: Micah 7:18-20 and 1 Peter 2:24-25 (NRSV)
Last episode, Christian made it through the Swamp of Despond with the help of the character Help. As Christian’s journey continues, he encounters Evangelist, Goodwill, and Interpreter who guide him towards the light of the Celestial City, while another traveler named Mr. Worldly-Wise thinks self-help, rather than the cross, will release Christian of his heavy burden. But, following the Holy Way, which leads to a small hill with a cross atop it, Christian finds what he has been looking for.
