It’s a risky endeavor to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. There are risks of being misunderstood, risks of our reputation being questioned, risks of a toll taken on our popularity, risks of losing our cherished comfort. Even the risk of losing our lives. But in that risking and losing, abundant life looms. Come this Palm Sunday, and join with Jesus in the Parade of the Lambs into Jerusalem, where he will offer himself as the spotless Lamb for the sins of the world.
