SUNDAY SCHOOL — ZOOM at Noon!

___
ADULTS: Join us over Zoom at noon where we will have “virtual breakout rooms” where people can visit in small groups, share prayer concerns and show something from their house that describes them. After the breakout session, Zoom will automatically brings us back together where we’ll share words of encouragement and praise. If you would like to join us, you will find the ZOOM link in each week’s Community Life publication. Check your email! Get your coffee ready!

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES — ZOOM at 10:30 am!

__
ADULTS: We will begin our new Adult Education classes using the NOOMA video series by Rob Bell. The name NOOMA comes from a phonetic spelling of the Greek word “pneuma”, meaning wind, spirit or breath. The series promotes spiritual reflections on individual life experiences. Each Sunday we’ll watch a video over Zoom and have a great discussion afterwards.

Children's and Youth Ministry Moment

Immanuel’s children and youth have been receiving special surprises throughout the pandemic. Kris Goorsky, our Director of Christian Formation, has been mailing fun activities to the kids; for example, a COVID Time Capsule packet where children could write and color pages about what life has been like these past few months.

We also delivered goodie bags filled with fun items and snacks including:

    • VBS materials (student book for those participating in VBS online)
    • VBS coloring pages (in Woods picture)
    • VBS fun science gizmos
    • Craft supplies to make a project

We have met over Zoom, texted, and shared videos, many of which can be seen during our Children’s Message in online worship.

Let’s join in prayer for our children, youth and our teachers
as they begin a new and challenging school year.

— Kris Goorsky, Director of Christian Formation
