We offer two styles of worship at Immanuel. Our Alternative Worship Service (8:30am on Sundays) features band-oriented music and a multi-sensory, interactive, and relational worship experience that bridges our ancient faith and our modern day questions and challenges. Our Alternative Worship Leader is Will Price. At 11:00 on Sundays, music at our Blended Worship Service is led by the Sanctuary Choir, organ, piano, and occasionally other instruments such as brass ensembles, violin, timpani, and percussion.
At Immanuel, we believe that worship is the most important thing we do as a congregation. Our worship empowers us to carry the Spirit into the world in which we live and work. Immanuel Presbyterian values music as prayer, gratitude, proclamation of the Word of God, and celebration. In addition to our Sanctuary Choir, we have three handbell choirs of varying ages and skill levels.

The Sanctuary Choir, directed by Dr. Walter (Billy) Schurr, rehearses on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:45 pm, and welcomes all adults who enjoy singing. This choir provides leadership on Sunday mornings throughout most of the year, and brings an extraordinary variety of music to our worship services. The choir is made up of singers with different musical backgrounds and different levels of experience. Prior choir experience is not required. We welcome winter residents! We have several folks who sing with us for just a few months. They hail from as far away as Iowa, Wisconsin, New York, Minnesota, and even Canada!

Our sanctuary is equipped with a 3-manual Allen Renaissance digital organ and a Kimball grand piano, and we enjoy singing traditional hymns and upbeat praise songs.We frequently supplement our music with a
variety of percussion instruments such as timpani, orchestral bells, bongos, suspended cymbal, steel drum,
and djembe, many of which we are fortunate to own thanks to memorial and estate gifts.
